Welcome to The NGO Hub!
I am Adhiraj Saboo, founder of NGO Hub; and I am Rishith Sinha, co-founder of NGO Hub. We are Class 12 students who are dedicated to make a meaningful impact on society. We understand the importance of giving back to society and hence came up with this initiative to make our own contribution.
We noticed that contacting NGOs and getting details regarding volunteering was not an easy task. Hundreds of students want to contribute but can’t because they are unable to find the NGO they want to join. Searching for the right NGO has always been an arduous task... until now (we hope). NGO Hub is a user-friendly website with over 45 listed NGOs from 7 different causes ranging from health and education to environment protection and animal safety. Finding the correct NGO is now just a click and a scroll away.
We are the first students to create a website like this. We believe that volunteering is the best way for a student to give back to society. We wish to engage students (and adults alike) and get them in touch with NGOs through our website. Many people start their own NGOs in order to contribute to society without realising that there might already exist many NGOs fighting the good fight for that particular cause. We, consequently, wanted to raise awareness of pre-existing NGOs.
Our goal is to make NGOs across the city more accessible so that a greater number of people are able to do their bit.
He's the guy who got frustrated by the difficulty he experienced in finding any NGOs to volunteer at over the summer. He's the guy who, while eating with relish the food he had ordered online, had a website-shaped brainwave. He's the guy who loved the website idea. He's the guy who said "Let's let people tell us about their volunteering experiences." He's the guy who procrastinated so hard that the site release was delayed by a week and a half. He’s the guy who shared Adhiraj’s and Rishith’s vision. He’s the guy who wanted to expand even before we started. He’s the guy who had a plan to bring in volunteers.
