Kamdebpur Rural Development Society (KRDS) conducts routine immunisation and also runs the pulse polio for the people of Kamdebpur village. It provides ambulance services, conduct medical camps and raises child nutrition awareness. The NGO is also involved in setting up self help groups for women, providing training in nursing. KRDS also runs a crèche and a balwadi unit.

Aswini Nagar Charitable and Welfare Society was started in 1995. The organisation started with about 100 volunteers, engaged one doctor and one oxygen cylinder. It is the only clinic in Bengal open 24 hours, 365 days of the year.
